Yvonne Mason is a poet who writes about food, wine and travel. She has written about food, for many publications including Easy Reader, beginning in 1976, Rendezvous, South Bay and more. Yvonne has written the food column, for Random Lengths, from 1985 -2006, as the Food & Dining Editor. She has made many food and wine tasting and writing trips to the California wine country, Mexico, France, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, North African and Asia. She has been a teaching California Poet in the Schools since 1985 and is currently L.A. South Beaches Area Coordinator. She has been a member of the Southern California Restaurant Writers since 1991 and was the president of said non profit organization from 2002-2006. She has been a recipient of NEA and CAC grants and is an award wining photographer. She has a degree in Art, and studied at U.S.C., Art Center of Design and U.C.L.A. Her art of many media has been exhibited since she was 6 years old. A life time water color painter, she is in the process of finishing two childrens books combining her words and paintings. Yvonne Mason has a lot of fun.

My favorite authors are Dylan Thomas, James Dickey and Sandra Cisneros.

My favorite books are "A Child's Christmas in Wales" and anything else by Thomas, Dickey and Cisneros.
