Christine Kravetz writes poetry, memoir and fiction. She holds an MFA degree in Creative Writing from Bennington College. Her poetry regularly appears in various journals including Poet Lore, The South Carolina Review, and California State Poetry Quarterly.

Since 2000, she has taught at a variety of Santa Barbara County Schools as a poet-in-residence with California Poets in the Schools and Santa Barbara Poet Teachers. She has also taught creative writing and poetry to children at the Santa Barbara Music and Arts Conservatory. She currently offers private poetry workshops for adults.

Christine is currently the Area Coordinator for California Poets in the Schools and Santa Barbara Poet Teachers.
