Tina Cervin
Tina Cervin has been writing poetry since age 7 when haiku caught her spirit. She teaches young elementary school children, many english language learners. She uses language play and a variety of stimulators -- food, objects, art, photos, and trips to the school garden -- to engage the kids in exploring expressive language. She is co-editor of A Ghost at Heart's Edge: Stories and Poems of Adoption , and has had poetry published in several magazines. Tina holds a BA in English/Creative Writing, and an MA in Clinical Psychology. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, two sons, and a little black dog.
