SYMPOSIUM SCHEDULE
Some workshops are still being finalized—thank you for your patience.
It is absolutely fine to show up for just part of the Symposium. Saturday will be the day with the most robust program.
FRIDAY 8/15: 5:30-7pm: Registration/Meetup for light dinner /happy hour
7:15pm-8:30: (Full Group) Evening Program: Fernando Albert Salinas, Program Manager at California Poets in the Schools: This workshop is designed to bring together both longtime members of our network and new voices, offering a space to connect, collaborate, and spark creativity. Together, we’ll create a poetic tapestry that weaves individual perspectives and experiences of California into a shared expression—deepening our connection to one another and to place through the art of poetry.
